What is Sinusitis ?

It is defined as a disorder in which there is an inflammation of the para nasal sinuses which may occur due to the bacterial, fungal or viral infections.

The inflammation of the sinuses cannot occur without some inflammation of the nose which is referred as the rhinitis. It can be auto immune or allergic and the new classification of sinusitis refers to the rhino sinusitis.
