The familial cases are linked with the autosomal dominant.

It includes the prions and there are small numbers of diseases. The prions are disease causing proteins which are not affected by the proteases. There is a change in the codon 102 from proline to leucine which is present on chromosome 20. So, mainly the genetic change is responsible for it.
