It is defined as a disorder in which there is a condition can lead to the death. It decreases the oxygenation of tissue. It cannot meet the cellular metabolism. The blood has the ability to carry oxygen as well as food material. It decreases the transport of these components when the flow of blood decreases. It does not allow the tissue to work properly. The blood has the ability to enter the tissue and is referred as perfusion. But if this process does not occur properly it can lead to shock.

This disorder is quite similar to emotional state of shock. But they are not related to each other. Shock is a life taking condition. It is the common cause of death in already compromised patients. These effects have the similar results and are linked with thecirculation system of body. Shock may lead to no oxygen in the arteries of blood. It can also lead to stopping of the heart.

What are the signs and symptoms of Hypo perfusion?
It leads to anxiety, restlessness, change in the mental state which occurs due to decrease in the blood supply to brain and hypoxia. It may lead to decrease in the blood pressure. It is known as hypo tension. It may lead to increase in the heart rate which is referred as tachycardia. The mouth is dry and the person feels like having a thirst to drink. The person may feel tired after some time. The skin is cold and clammy. The sweat evaporates and there is a decrease in the perfusion. The skin also loses its color and texture. The respiration is not proper and it occurs due to the excitation of sympathetic nervous system. The eyes are wide open with the dilation of pupils. These all are features of hypo volemic shock.

The signs and symptoms of cardiogenic shock include the features quite similar to hypo volemic shock. In this type of shock there is no pulse and have an increase in the heart rate. The jugular veins are long and dilated.

The signs and symptoms of obstructive shock include the features like the jugular veins are long and dilated due to increase in the pressure.

The signs and symptoms of septic shock include the features such as fever, warm and sweating skin, low blood pressure with warm and a sweaty skin. The feature also includes the decrease in the blood pressure. The white blood cells attach themselves to the wall of arteries. The contracting ability of the heart is reduced and the neutrophils level is increased.

The signs and symptoms of neurogenic shock include the features such as injury to the spinal cord. It includes the decrease in the blood pressure. It is known as hypo tension. It may lead to increase in the heart rate which is referred as tachycardia along with the decrease in heart rate later on which is referred as the bradychardia. The mouth is dry and the person feels like having a thirst to drink. The person may feel tired after some time. The skin is cold and clammy. The sweat evaporates and there is a decrease in the perfusion. It occurs due to the stimulation of sympathetic nervous system.

The signs and symptoms of anaphylactic shock include the features such as eruptions in the skin along with the large bumps. There is a swelling around the face with a pulse which is weak. There is a cough along with the breathlessness in which the air way is narrow and the throat has a swelling.
